Now, It's no surprise to us that Young Sabre was going to drop once again this year, with an already intricate release of tracks this year like Another Flight, Ecstasy & Shakin' The Chains (Freestyle), but for him to hit us with a brand new EP was totally unexpected; especially just days after the recently released STCF.

"This ain't just some 'collection of songs' kinda EP"

Sabre told us this EP isn't just a random collection of tracks that was put together as a filler. This was a planned release, with tracks in order to tell a story; but we didn't leave this up to interpretation, we got Young Sabre to tell us straight up what each song means to tie the EP together.

Yes, we know, Take Some Time has already had a legendary exclusive announcement on...

CADA - Sydney's number one DAB+ Radio Station (Shout out to them!)

BUT that doesn't stop us from giving you another direct source of information, Sabre's going to tell you what each song means, let's begin.

In The Morning

First song off the track list.

"I made this track on FaceTime with a girl while I'm talking about what I want my future to look like with my wife in like 10 years."
"I always been the one for imagining crazy sh*t 24/7. People don't really be f*****g with it 100% of the time coz they can't fathom it for themselves, I probably look crazy to them but I just got big dreams and aspirations and I ain't scared to chase them for real.. so that's on you."

Reminisce

Second song off the track list.

"This track gotta be one of the most vivid freestyles I done. I wrote this sh*t about the first girl I fell in love with."
"Each line is intentional and I think the fact it was a freestyle is almost what makes it more genuine than a written song because I'm speaking as I'm remembering. To me every time I play this song the memories of where I was at and what happened come rushing back to me, I think they would for her as well. I found this to be one of my most vulnerable tracks."

Ecstasy

Third song off the track list.

"For me, Ecstasy is one of those songs that comes every once in a while. I wrote it about an intimate time I spent with someone who I wanted to show that I could genuinely be there for."
"I find it hard to genuinely talk to people about vulnerable moments, and I think the best way for me to output how I felt was just to make a song about it."

I Do

Fourth song off the track list.

"I'm not gonna lie I just wanted some sh*t me and my bro could turn up to, I wanted to keep the chill ass vibe of the EP but add a lil bounce and luxury R&B at the end that ends off the compilation perfectly, almost like a celebration song."
"This EP is what 366 Days should've been, something that wasn't extremely hard to make and just made sense."

You heard it from himself.

There isn't much to add to it, in his words

"Take Some Time is a reminder to myself to sit back and think about all the sh*t I been through and experiences I had, almost to teach myself how I can be better in the future; I swear I gotta touch into my dog side now and work on some shit for the crew."

The End.
